On Sunday DSC completed 2 more of its Easter sailing series.

A committee boat start allowed the OOD to lay a figure of 8 course which made full use of the moderate but steady wind.

14 boats entered the 1st event,  most of them being the regular members in Lasers and Solos but they were joined by a new RS300 expertly sailed by Bones who shot across the start line and established a lead which was never challenged. The conditions favoured Solos rather than Lasers but even they were beaten by M Bennett in his DY who took 2nd place on Hcp.  3rd was J Weeks, 4th J Raad, 5th R Allen all in Solos followed by the leading Laser of J Stockbridge.

The second race was joined by a Dart catamaran and a Wayfarer but the RS300 still forged ahead of the fleet and proved impossible to beat. The Solos changed their positions with J Raad moving up to take 2nd place,  R.Allen was 3rd, B Thomas 4th  and J.Weeks tying for 5th with the Laser of J Stockbridge.
